How old do you need to be to drive?
You can start driving a car when you're 17.
When can I apply for my provisional licence?
To apply for a provisional driving licence you must be at least 15 years and 9 months old and be able to read a number plate from 20 metres away.

Yes! Make sure to book your lessons before that date.
The Theory Test
The second part is a hazard perception test which involves watching a collection of short videos and clicking anywhere on the screen when you see a hazard. You must score at least 44 out of 75.

The Practical Test
The practical part of the test involves driving as you normally would, but instead of us sitting next to you, an examiner sits there instead.
Can I drive as soon as I've passed my practical test?
Yes! Once you've passed, your examiner will give you a pass certificate which you can use until you receive your full driving licence.
What is the Pass Plus course?
The Pass Plus course is a practical training course that takes at least 6 hours and is for drivers to improve their skills on the road.
